Stillwater Studios is a single-operator video studio. This policy covers this website and the private internal software the studio's owner uses to publish the owner's own work: videos to the studio's own YouTube channel, and product pins for the owner's StilwaterUSDesigns Etsy shop to the owner's own Pinterest account.
This site collects nothing from you. There are no accounts, no sign-in, no contact forms, no analytics, no advertising and no cookies set by us. Our hosting provider keeps standard server logs, which may include your IP address and browser type, for security and reliability.
The studio's internal software connects to one Google account — the studio owner's own account, which controls the Stillwater Studios YouTube channel. No other person authorizes it, and no visitor to this site is asked to.
It requests four YouTube permissions:
youtube.upload — to upload finished videos to the
studio's own channel.youtube.readonly — to read back the channel's own
details, so the software can confirm an upload succeeded and report which
channel it is connected to.yt-analytics.readonly — to read the channel's own
view, watch-time and traffic-source reports.youtube.force-ssl — to update the titles and
thumbnails of the studio's own published videos.What that access is used for: uploading and maintaining the studio's own videos, reading how they perform, and checking the connection is still valid. Nothing else.
The same software connects to one Pinterest business account — the owner's own, used for the StilwaterUSDesigns Etsy shop. No other person authorizes it, and no visitor to this site is asked to.
It requests these Pinterest permissions:
boards:read and boards:write — to list
the account's own boards and create a board for each of the shop's product
categories.pins:read and pins:write — to publish
pins of the shop's own products to those boards, and read back each pin's
own impressions, saves and clicks.user_accounts:read — to confirm which account is
connected and read that account's own totals.What that access is used for: publishing pins the owner has approved, linking to the shop's own Etsy listings, and measuring how they perform. It never reads, saves, follows or comments on anyone else's content.
Use of information received from Google APIs adheres to the Google API Services User Data Policy, including its Limited Use requirements.
Google access can be revoked at any time from Google Account permissions, and Pinterest access from the Apps section of Pinterest's account settings. Either immediately stops the software from publishing or reading anything on that account. A revoked token stops working at once and is not used again; stored tokens are replaced whenever the connection is renewed.
No visitor data is retained, because none is collected. The Google and Pinterest authorization tokens are kept only for the connection in use, and each is replaced when the connection is renewed. Pin performance figures (impressions, saves, clicks) are kept by the owner as business records.
This site is not directed at children and does not knowingly collect information from anyone.
If this policy changes, the date at the top of this page will change with it.
